Temple University Does Energy Conservation

Temple University's Office of Sustainability has been heading up a campaign to remind people to turn their lights off. This is in line with the University's goal to become a "carbon neutral" institution. The office asked volunteers to put up stickers on all the light switches in buildings around campus. Turning off your lights is an easy way you can help out the environment.

How does this connect to biodiversity? Lights run on electicity, electricity is produced by electrical plants which are large producers or carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide polutes the planet and contribute to global warming.
